David Gould, CEO mShopperDavid Gould – Founder & CEO
David brings 20 years of senior management, entrepreneurial, and finance experience to mShopper. He previously worked at Virgin Mobile USA where he managed Virgin’s Mobile Content activities. The Virgin Mobile Content Group generated more than $60 million per annum in 2004 revenues.Prior to Virgin Mobile, David helped launch Sundari, Christy Turlington’s Ayurvedic skin care company, and ZelnickMedia, Strauss Zelnick’s (the former CEO of BMG North America Entertainment) latest media venture. Prior to these, David spent five years as Chairman and CEO of Imix.com, the Internet’s then leading wholesaler of personalized entertainment content. At its peak, lmix employed more than 60 people, executed more than 250 license agreements covering more than 200,000 song titles, powered more than 150 web sites, and generated several million in annual revenues. Prominent Imix shareholders included BMG Entertainment, Sony Music Entertainment, Clear Channel Communications, Hicks, Muse, Tate and Furst.Previously, Gould was an investment banker with Merrill Lynch, The Apogee Finance Group, and Irving Capital Corporation. Gould received an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Economics from Colgate University.

Berger is a Silicon Valley veteran with more than twenty-five years of experience in developing communication strategies and marketing programs for organizations of all sizes; from launching start-ups and new products to providing ongoing strategy for recognized multinational brands. Bob specializes in integrated marketing, including branding, positioning, SEO/SEM, PPC, website strategies and management, online marketing, social networking and launching products and services. His areas of expertise include enterprise hardware and software, software-as-a-service, security, consumer packaged goods and technology and online learning technologies. He has worked directly with Oracle CEO Larry Ellison on developing and driving lead-generating advertising, Apple CEO Steve Jobs on public relations and product launches, Salesforce.com CEO Marc Benioff on advertising and PR, and former HP CEO John Young on PR strategies. In addition to working with these executives, he has driven branding, communications and marketing for Apple, Clorox, Dell, Harmon/Kardon Multimedia, HP, IBM, Intuit, McAfee, Oracle, Seibel, SlimGenics, Sybase, Webroot and Zuujit. Berger graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and is an award-winning writer and art director.

He is a multi-channel marketing expert with over 20 years experience working with some of the largest brands including: Staples, 1800flowers.com, IAC, Marriott, The Home Depot, New Line Cinema/Warner Brothers, and many more.Prior to joining mShopper, Ned has held positions as VP Business Development, MGI, Inc., VP Sales/Client Service, Exmplar, Inc., and at Experian Marketing Services. Ned adds a wealth of experience and joins an innovative Sales & Service team offering cutting edge solutions in the #1 growth channel for merchants — mobile!

Stephan Cavarra, VP Engineering mShopper
Stephan Cavarra – VP Engineering
Stephan brings over 20 years of development experience to mShopper. He has extensive technical experience, a rich knowledge of software development methodologies, and is skilled in the creation of intelligent software design, guiding projects from inception to multi-million-dollar ventures. He builds effective teams and is often involved with customers on technical and relationship issues.Prior to mShopper, Stephan worked as a Senior Development Manager at Autodesk managing 50+ people in off-shore, remote and local teams for IT Application Development. Before Autodesk, Stephan worked for DataForce Systems, Hewlett-Packard, Visionary Design Systems, 3D/EYE, and Alventive where he worked on a variety of award-winning software products, including 2D and 3D software, internet-based applications for the collaborative product design market, and enterprise-wide Product Data Management solutions.In his spare time he is a private pilot and a Captain in the Civil Air Patrol. A Colorado native, he enjoys outdoor activities and the almost 300+ days of sunshine found in Boulder, home of mShopper’s headquarters.

Michael Shearer, Director of Marketing mShopperMichael Shearer – Director of Marketing
Michael brings more than a decade of digital marketing, analytics, and eCommerce experience to mShopper. He first started with eCommerce pioneer, Digital River, and over the next 15 years, worked in a wide range of industries both in-house and as an agency consultant. He possesses extensive experience in project management, systems integration, marketing technology, client servicing, reporting, search engine marketing, marketing automation, content marketing/management, eCommerce, web analytics and more. Shearer received his B.S.B.A. in Information Systems from Drake University and a MA in Management from American Public University.
